Clowbridge 5k - Autumn 2/3

A trail 5 km race run as part of a three-race autumn series on Thursdays, taking place on 3, 10 and 17 September 2026. The event follows a popular route off the Pennine Bridleway around Clowbridge Reservoir.

Open to people aged 11 and over. The course consists of two laps of the trail path around the reservoir, run anti-clockwise from Rossendale Valley Sailing Club, Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5PF. The route covers 5 km with approximately 25 m of elevation.

Entry fee is £6.50 and entries are handled through SiEntries. Prizes are awarded in each race and the races are described as well marshalled. Parking is available in the lower car park at the sailing club and on Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir.

Proceeds from the series will be donated to local causes. The event is organised by RunJMC and an ARC licence is pending. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
