She Strides Women only 50K

She Strides Women only 50K is the third edition of a women only ultramarathon held in West Yorkshire. The event is organised from Wadsworth Community Centre in Old Town, Hebden Bridge and follows a circular marked route that starts above Hebden Bridge, passes through woodland, crosses open moorland and visits the village of Howarth.

The course covers approximately 50 km with about 1400 m of ascent and offers wide views along higher sections that show the route ahead and behind. There are four well stocked, vegan friendly checkpoints staffed by an all female crew. A ten hour cutoff applies at checkpoint 4.

The race finishes at the same location as the start and finishers are welcomed by volunteers under a bannered finish line. Included with entries are a finisher’s medal, post race food, GPS tracking, fully stocked vegan friendly checkpoints, baggage storage and a kit swap rail at registration, plus free downloadable photography on the event website. A bar will be open between 2 pm and 7 pm for runners and spectators, and there is an option to purchase cotton or technical finishers t-shirts.

On‑road parking is available around the nearby village; organisers request car sharing where possible as this is a residential area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
