She Strides Women Only 50K

Event details

She Strides Women’s only 50K is a women-only ultramarathon scheduled for 1 August 2026. The event starts and finishes at Wadsworth Community Centre, Billy Lane, Old Town, Hebden Bridge (HX7 8RY). The route is a circular, marked course that travels above Hebden Bridge through woodland and open moorland and passes through nearby villages and areas of natural beauty. The course includes approximately 1,400 m of ascent. There are four well stocked, vegan-friendly checkpoints and a 10 hour cutoff at the last checkpoint. All finishers receive a medal, and hot food and drinks are available at the finish. The finish area is staffed by volunteers and includes a bannered finish line.

Logistics and entries

Minimum age is 18. Standard entry fees are £50 until 30 November 2025, then £65; youth entries (under 23) are £20. Entries open 3 August 2025 and close 17 July 2026. Entries include GPS tracking, baggage storage and a kit swap rail at registration, free downloadable photography, and fully stocked vegan-friendly checkpoints. Registration provides sanitary products and changing facilities. A bar will be open in the afternoon and there is an option to purchase a finishers t-shirt.
