She Strides Women only 50k

She Strides Women only 50k is a women-only ultramarathon that starts and finishes at Wadsworth Community Centre in Old Town, Hebden Bridge (HX7 8RY). The route is a marked circular course that travels through woodland and open moorland and passes Hebden Bridge and other local villages.

The course includes approximately 1400 m of ascent and has four well stocked, vegan-friendly checkpoints. There is a 10 hour cutoff at the final checkpoint. The event uses an all-female support crew, which includes photographers.

Facilities at registration include baggage storage, a kit swap rail, changing facilities, and sanitary products. Finishers receive a medal; hot food and drinks are available at the finish and a bar will be open for runners and spectators in the afternoon. Entries include GPS tracking and free downloadable race photography; there is an option to purchase a cotton or technical finisher t-shirt.

Take on The Half & Half 10 km on 25 January 2026 at Sowerby Bridge for a split terrain challenge. Rugged muddy trails and obstacles give way to a tarmac finish, entries are limited to 100 and hoodies are available to pre order.

A night score event at The Railway Inn in Marple on Tuesday 27th January. Choose a 40, 60 or 75 minute course, use MapRun or a paper backup, and note late entries are not guaranteed a map.

Timed lap based event on a flat 5.3 km riverside out and back near Hardy Farm in Manchester, with flexible distances from 5 km to ultra and a seven hour time limit. Medal free entry option and a charity donation per finisher.

Hoofstones Fell Race in Todmorden covers 8 miles with 425 m of climb across the Pennines, testing navigation skills. Race HQ is the Staff of Life pub where post race refreshments and prizes await; entries accepted pre entry or on the day.
