The Punk Panther Takes the Hindmost is a unique ultramarathon event where only one runner can finish. Participants begin with four qualifying laps around a 10.5 km loop at Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs. After these laps, elimination rounds commence, where the last runner to finish each lap is removed from the race.

This continues until only three runners remain, who then compete until one is left standing. The event emphasizes endurance and strategy, with all finishers receiving a medal and a T-shirt.
