Panther Takes The Hindmost

Otley, United Kingdom • 30 Aug 2025

Panther Takes The Hindmost is an ultramarathon held at Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs in North Lane, UK. The race features a 10.5km loop around the reservoirs with 375ft of climb per lap. Participants start with four qualifying laps, after which elimination laps begin: the last runner to finish each lap is removed from the race.

This continues until only three runners remain, who then compete until a single winner is determined. The event allows runners to rest and resupply at the nearby car park, which also has public toilets. The race offers ITRA and UTMB points based on distance completed and awards all finishers with a medal and T-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
