Panther Takes The Hindmost

Otley, United Kingdom • 30 Aug 2025

The Punk Panther Takes the Hindmost is an ultramarathon event that features a unique elimination format, where only one runner can ultimately finish. Participants begin with four qualifying laps around a 10.5 km loop at Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs. After these laps, elimination rounds commence, with the last runner to finish each lap being removed from the race.

This continues until only three runners remain, who then compete until one is declared the winner. The event emphasizes endurance and strategy, with all finishers receiving a medal and T-shirt. The race is set to take place on August 30, 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
