The AIRE Ultra Trail and AIRE Super Trail Half take place on 26/07/2026. Race headquarters are at Piglove By The River, Clarence Rd, Leeds LS10 1EE. The event uses local riverside trails and public footpaths and has a minimum age of 18.

Course, facilities and included items

The course is described as very flat and fast, following the river with generally good quality footpaths. There are a couple of small bridges with steps, and the route passes St Aiden's and Fairburn Ings Nature Reserves. Road crossings and turnaround points will be marked and marshalled.

Race facilities at the HQ include toilets and bag storage. All finishers receive a locally made medal and a pint from Piglove Brewery. The ultra has no less than five water stations, four of which include snacks; the half has no less than two water stations with snacks. Mandatory kit is not required for the half; for the ultra organisers may make some gear mandatory depending on weather. Parking is listed at CitiPark Leeds Dock, Armouries Drive LS10 1LE; the venue is close to Granary Wharf, the Royal Armouries and Leeds Station. Too Cool for Pule is a lively 5.8 mile trail race around Marsden, taking in reservoirs, hilltop views and proper fell terrain. Expect climbs and boggy sections, then a friendly finish at Marsden Cricket Club with food, a bar and prizes.

Run scenic looped trails around historic Kirkstall Abbey, following riverside paths, woodlands and towpaths with distances from 8.8 miles up to an ultra. Expect varied terrain, friendly marshals, feed stations and a bespoke finisher medal.

Join Leeds MoRunning at Roundhay Park on 23 November 2025 with distances from 1.5k to half marathon on a scenic but hilly park and trail course. Chip timing, finisher medal and headband plus fun extras like spot prizes make it great fun.
