Golden Acre Junior Relay 2026

The Golden Acre Junior Relay is an evening team relay held in Golden Acre Park, Leeds on Tuesday 14 July 2026. Teams consist of three runners drawn from School Years 2 to 7. The course is a trail route described as undulating and is run over 3 x 1 miles in three laps. The event will be licensed by the Trail Running Association and run under UK Athletics rules. It is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Categories are split by age band and gender composition. Younger categories require all three runners to be in School Years 2 to 4; older categories require all three runners to be in School Years 2 to 7. Mixed categories require at least one male and one female on the team. Entry is limited to 70 teams and only online entries are accepted; entries on the night will not be taken.

Race headquarters is at Golden Acre Park near Arthington Road car park. Park toilets will be available but are a 5 to 10 minute jog or walk from race registration. Facilities listed for the event do not include water stations, changing rooms, showers, baggage storage, or distance markers. The published entry fee for each category is £8.00.
