Golden Acre Relay 2026

The Golden Acre Relay is an evening team race held at Golden Acre Park, Leeds on Tuesday 14 July 2026. Teams of three runners complete a relay around the park over three laps, with each leg forming part of a 3 x 2.75 Miles course.

Teams may enter the following categories: Male Open, Female Open, Male Vets (all three runners aged 35 or over), Female Vets (all three runners aged 35 or over), Mixed (at least one male and one female), Junior Boys (all three in School Years 8 to 12) and Junior Girls (all three in School Years 8 to 12). Entry is limited to 150 teams and is open only to UKA affiliated club members. Entries are accepted online only and no entries will be taken on the night. Entry opens 1 May 2026.

The course is a trail route with an undulating profile and three laps. The event will be licensed by the Trail Running Association and run under UK Athletics rules. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Race headquarters are at Golden Acre Park near the Arthington Road car park. Park toilets will be available but are a 5 to 10 minute jog or walk from race registration. An evening popup running event in Kirkstall, Leeds offering 5k and 10k races with on the evening registration, a jumble medal and a soft drink for all runners.

A Wharfedale Harriers moorland race on Thursday 7 May 2026 covering about 7 miles and 1100 ft of ascent. Runners start at Barrier Car Park, touch the gate by Dick Hudsons Pub on the moor and return while choosing their own route.

Pinhaw is an 8 km fell race on 8 May 2026 near Earby in the South/West Pennines, climbing about 213 m. Entry is available both in advance and on the day with modest fees.

Three circular challenge routes of 26.2, 23 and 18 miles around the Colne Valley near Marsden. Entries are by SIEntries with a 150 person limit and include checkpoints, refreshments and a finish meal.
