While the midday checkpoint at Ripponden is located indoors, the remaining checkpoints throughout the course are positioned outdoors. A formal route description and GPX file are provided to participants before the event begins.

Facilities and Logistics

The event starts and finishes at the Heath Rugby Union Football Club at North Dean, where free on-site car parking is available for participants. The organizers provide refreshments at the start, at locations along the route, and a meal upon return to the finish line. To minimize plastic waste, all participants are required to bring their own mug for drinks.
