St Aidan's 10K (2026)
The St Aidan's 10K is a trail race held at RSPB St Aidan's Country Park in Swillington, Leeds on a Friday evening in July. The event covers 10 km along public footpaths and bridleways and uses most of the Country Park before returning to the Visitor Centre.
The course is described as undulating with mostly flat sections. The start is adjacent to the RSPB St Aidan's Little Owl Cafe and the preserved walking dragline excavator known as "Oddball", and the finish is at the Visitor Centre. The race consists of a single lap and is not suitable for wheelchairs. A TRA permit has been applied for.
Entries are limited to 300 runners because of parking constraints on site and environmental considerations. Entry fees listed for the event are £21.00 for affiliated runners and £23.00 for unaffiliated runners; entry on the day may be available for an additional £3.00 if places remain. Race facilities include water points, distance markers and toilets; there are no changing rooms, showers or baggage storage at the venue. Race headquarters is at St Aidan's RSPB Visitor Centre, LS26 8AL. The organiser is Even Splits. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
