St Aidan's 10k

The St Aidan's 10k is a trail running event held on a Friday evening in July. The race takes place within the RSPB St Aidan's Country Park, located in Swillington, to the east of Leeds. The course is a single lap measuring 10 kilometres and consists primarily of public footpaths and bridleways.

The route is described as fast and mostly flat, though the formal profile is listed as undulating. The start line is situated by the Little Owl Cafe, near the historic "Oddball" dragline excavator. After navigating the majority of the Country Park, the route concludes back at the Visitor Centre.

The event has an entry limit of 300 participants due to environmental considerations and limited on-site parking. Facilities available at the venue include toilets, water stations, and distance markers along the course. There are no changing rooms, showers, or baggage storage facilities provided.
