Sithee at Slawit Again

The event starts and finishes in the village of Slaithwaite and follows a stretch of the Huddersfield narrow gauge canal. The course reaches Tunnel End, a 3.5 mile tunnel under the pennines that was used by canal boats. Feed stations are located on the course, normally around every three miles, and runners are encouraged to bring a reusable cup or bottle because the event tries to be cup-less. Marshals are placed along the route to offer encouragement and assistance if required. There may be unmarshalled road crossings on parts of the course.

Registration, toilets and bag drop are at Slaithwaite Community Centre on Bank Gate. Start and finish are on the canal just outside Waves. Parking at the start is very limited; additional parking is available in town carparks and side roads and there is a train station in Slaithwaite. The organiser donates to the community centre for use of the hall.

Races are licenced by the Trail Running Association. Transfers or deferrals can be self-served within 48 hours. Runners who are injured or want to retire should notify the closest marshal. After the race participants receive a bespoke medal, drinks and post‑race food. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
