Oktoberfest - Rodley
Oktoberfest is a canal towpath running event held on 17 October 2027 at Rodley Cricket Club, Canal Bank Sports Ground, Moss Bridge Road, Rodley, Leeds LS13 1RL. The course follows the Leeds and Liverpool Canal and is described as a flat towpath with gentle elevation around locks.
The event is chip-timed and fully marshalled. Feed stations are provided approximately every 3 miles; these are cup-less, so runners should bring a bottle or cup. GPX routes are available to download before race day. The event holds a Trail Running Association licence.
Registration and parking are at Rodley Cricket Club. Parking at the club is charged at £5 cash and the fee goes towards the club's funds. Public transport links include buses from Leeds, Keighley, Shipley, Bingley and Bradford. Car sharing is encouraged and organisers ask visitors to park considerately if the club field is unavailable.
Race operations notes: over-ear headphones are not permitted (bone-conducting or single-ear use is allowed); withdrawals should be reported to a marshal; transfers or deferrals are available online up to 72 hours before the event.
