The Thurlstone Chase is a category BS fell race organized by Penistone Footpath Runners. The event takes place in South Yorkshire, with the race headquarters situated at the Thurlstone Gala and Football Field. The competition follows a single lap course covering a total distance of 6.4 kilometres.

The event recognizes top finishers across several categories. Prizes are awarded to the first three men and the first three women, regardless of their age. Following the overall winners, prizes are given to the first finishers in five-year age increments, starting from the MV40 and FV40 categories. Additionally, a cash prize of £25 is available for any runner who settles a new course record, with the current marks to beat standing at 25:04 for men and 26:56 for women.
