Prizes are awarded to the first three men and first three women regardless of age, then to first finishers in five-year age increments beginning at MV40 and FV40. There is a cash bonus of £25 for breaking the male record (25:04) and the female record (26:56).
Facilities at the race headquarters are limited. There is no water, no distance markers, no toilets, no changing facilities, no showers, and no baggage storage.
