Sir Titus Summer Trot

Sir Titus Summer Trot is a multiple-distance trail running event that starts and finishes in the World Heritage village of Saltaire, next to the canal near Salts Mill in Shipley, West Yorkshire. Races follow a largely flat towpath route and are licensed by the Trail Running Association. Feed stations offering drinks and a range of food are provided at roughly three mile intervals; participants are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle. Toilets are available at the start and finish area. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and there are edible refreshments after the race.

Saltaire train station is a short walk from the start area. Parking is available in the village and near Titus Salt School; council charges may apply. The event lists age minimums for some distances: 10k 16 plus, 10 mile 17 plus, 20 mile and Marathon 18 plus, Ultra Marathon 21 plus. Entry fees vary by distance and are shown in the event offers. The organiser advises against large over ear headphones for safety and notes there may be unmarshalled road crossings. Transfers and deferrals can be self-served up to 48 hours before the event.
