Clowbridge Trail 10k

The Clowbridge Trail 10k is a midweek trail running event located in Burnley. The course takes participants around the Clowbridge Reservoir and utilizes sections of the Pennine Bridleway. This race is designed to offer a similar environment to the existing Clowbridge 5k series.

The route covers a total distance of 10 km and includes an elevation gain of 175m. The course is fully marked and supported by marshals throughout. Registration takes place at the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club on Manchester Road, which also serves as the venue for spot prizes following the conclusion of the event.

Participants must be at least 15 years old on the day of the race to enter. The event is licensed under ARC (pending) and is organized by Run JMC. Proceeds from the entry fees are donated to local causes. For those arriving by car, local parking is available at the lower car park of the Sailing Club and on Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir.
