Clowbridge Trail 10k

The Clowbridge Trail 10k is a new off-road race that follows paths around Clowbridge Reservoir and sections of the Pennine Bridleway. The course covers a distance of 10 km with approximately 175 m of elevation gain and is described as having the same friendly atmosphere as the organiser's Clowbridge 5k Series.

The route is marked and marshalled, and spot prizes are awarded at the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club after the event. Parking is available locally, including a lower car park at the Sailing Club and at Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir. Monies from the race will be donated to local causes.

Entries are processed through SiEntries and require an account; entries open 24 February 2026 and close 22 July 2026. The event has a minimum age limit of 15 years and the published entry fee is £10. The organiser notes that an ARC licence is pending for the event.
