Trail Running calendar near Brampton 2026-2027

Trail ultramarathon along the Nidderdale Way with 13, 20, 32 and 55 mile options through classic Yorkshire landmarks and supplied trackers for all entrants.

The Nidderdale Way Ultramarathon will take place in Pateley Bridge on Saturday 24 October 2026.

A 38 mile trail ultramarathon with a relay option held in association with the Jedburgh Running Festival. The event on 24 October 2026 is presented as LGBTIQ+ and nonbinary friendly, with entries opening 1 March 2026 at 8pm.

A backyard ultra in Gisburn Forest where runners complete a single off road loop each hour until one remains; limited field, basecamp at Stephen Park and prize money.

A 54 mile point to point ultra along the Cumbria Way from Keswick to Ulverston with live tracking, mandatory kit and mountain navigation requirements.

Run the Bronte Way fell race through the South/West Pennines, a scenic 12 km point to point with 351 m of climb. Pre entry only with limited bus support and a warming soup and roll at the finish make this a classic autumn challenge.

Take on the classic Buttermere fell race on 25 October 2026 at Gatesgarth Farm, a tough 5 km senior route with 600 m of climbing plus short junior races. Enjoy a traditional shepherds meet atmosphere, entry on the day and a warm drink.

Obstacle-course race at Aske estate for dogs and owners, with 5 km and 10 km routes, dozens of marked obstacles and an 850 m muddy assault section.

Trail Outlaws stages Dark Skies Run @ Wooler in Northumberland with fully marked trails, stocked check points and options for a Trail 10k or a Half Marathon. Entry fees shown range from £25 to £36.

Trail running from Glenridding around Helvellyn and Ullswater with 5 km, 10 km and two 15 km options on waymarked, marshalled routes.

A scenic trail half marathon around Dalmeny Estate and Cammo Nature Reserve near South Queensferry. The chip timed 13.1 mile course has under 1000 ft of ascent and includes a finisher medal, prizes and on site facilities.

Full and half marathon around Gargrave through Yorkshire Dales to the Broughton Stone Circle, with refreshment stations and proceeds supporting a participant's World Scout Jamboree 2027 attendance.

Two clockwise routes around Ullswater from Pooley Bridge on 31 October 2026: a 20 mile route and a 24 mile challenge with an optional high level Glencoyne traverse.

A night time 5k at Herons Reach Blackpool on 31 October 2026 over multi terrain parkland. Pre booked entry is required with set fees by age category and all finishers receive a glow in the dark medal.

A circular night trail race of about 7ish miles from Sutton Bank Visitor Centre, glow-sticked and marshalled, with mandatory kit and a kit check at registration.

Seaham seafront runs on 1 November 2026 with 5 km and 10 km courses starting at the Tommy statue; a one-minute silence is observed before each race.

A ten mile road race around Derwent Water on 1 November 2026, organised by Keswick AC with Race HQ at Keswick School, tarmac roads, refreshments midrace and first aid provision.

Trail runs from Glenridding along Ullswater’s eastern shore with 10 km and 14 km options, boat transfers when possible, live music, local food stalls and compulsory waterproof kit.

A chip timed trail event in Grizedale Forest on 1 November 2026 offering 10K and 5K routes, views over Coniston Water, and allowance for two dogs per runner.

A TRA-licensed trail event around Fewston and Swinsty reservoirs featuring an undulating 6.7-mile loop and multiple race distances. The course is waymarked and marshalled, with aid stations, on-site facilities, and a bespoke finisher medal.
