Hermitage Trail Runs 2026

The Hermitage of Braid and Blackford Hill trail runs take place on 22 November 2026. The event offers marked and marshaled off road courses that use paths on and around Blackford Hill. The 5 km and 10 km runs follow a one lap course that starts at the Hermitage of Braid house and proceeds up and over Blackford Hill.

A short festive fun run of 1.2 km is provided for children. All fun run entrants receive an elf hat to run in and take away, and festive wear is encouraged. Proceeds from the fun run are donated to Friends of the Hermitage and Braid and to Morningside Primary School.
