Brampton Trail Run

The Brampton Trail Run is a single lap off-road running event held on the edge of Brampton, Cumbria. The race follows an undulating route across a mixture of terrain that is likely to be muddy, necessitating the use of trail shoes. The event is held under UK Athletics rules and is licensed by the Trail Running Association. Participation is open to individuals aged 16 and older.

Participants have access to facilities at the race headquarters located at The Sands, which include toilets and a baggage store. While water stations are provided along the course, there are no distance markers, changing facilities, or showers available. A mobile coffee van is stationed on-site to provide hot and cold drinks as well as food items.

The event has an entry limit of 250 participants. Those who complete the course receive a bespoke medal, and event photographs are made available for digital download after the race.
