Brampton Trail Run 2026 : event details

The Brampton Trail Run takes place on 4 January 2026 in Brampton, Cumbria. The event is organised by Fellside Events Ltd. The main race distance is 7 Kilometres, run as a single lap. The race is licensed by the Trail Running Association (TRA permit 7803 pending) and is held under UK Athletics rules. Participants must be aged 16 or older on race day. Course, facilities and entry

The course is a mostly off-road, undulating trail route with mixed terrain and may be muddy; organisers suggest wearing trail shoes. Facilities include water stations, toilets and a baggage store. There are no distance markers, changing facilities or showers. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and free event photographs will be available to download. A mobile coffee van will be on site selling hot and cold drinks and cakes. Entry fees are £17.50 for affiliated runners and £19.50 for unaffiliated runners; if the event does not sell out, entry on the day is available for an additional £2.50.
