PFW Running - Lancashire Loop Trail Run

Event details

The Lancashire Loop Trail Run is organised by PFW Running and takes place on Sunday 23 November 2025 in Blackpool. The event offers four distances:

• 10K
• Half marathon
• Marathon
• Ultra

All participants must be at least 18 years old. Competitors aged 18-19 may enter up to the marathon distance; competitors aged 20 and over may enter any distance. There is a 6 hour time limit. The event will be held under UK Athletics rules and has a Trail Running Association permit number listed as TBA.

Course and facilities

The course is based on a 10K loop near the Village Hotel, East Park Drive, Blackpool, FY3 8LL. Distances are formed by multiple laps of the loop: half marathon = 2 laps + a short out-and-back; marathon = 4 laps + short out-and-back; ultra = 5 laps. The route is mainly on trail paths through a country park with a short section on pavement. The course passes Marton Mere nature reserve, Herons Reach golf course, Blackpool Zoo, Blackpool Tower views, and Stanley Park.

Entries and race provisions

Maximum field is 100 entrants. Entries close 16 November 2025 and the event is listed as full. Refunds are not permitted. Entries can be transferred or deferred up to one week before the event. Drinks (water, cordial, coke), and sweet and savoury snacks will be provided on course. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and post-race goodies.
