Lancashire Loop Trail Run
Date: Sunday 27 September 2026. The start and finish are in the grounds of the Village Hotel, East Park Drive, Blackpool, FY3 8LL. The event uses a 10K loop around country-park trails and short pavement sections.
The route passes Marton Mere nature reserve, Herons Reach golf course and Blackpool Zoo, with views of Blackpool Tower and Stanley Park. The half marathon is two loops plus a short out-and-back, the marathon is four loops plus a short out-and-back, and the ultra is five loops.
Distances and entry fees:
- 10K - Affiliated £23; Unattached £25
- Half marathon - Affiliated £27; Unattached £29
- Marathon - Affiliated £31; Unattached £33
- Ultra - Affiliated £36; Unattached £38
On-course provisions include drinks and sweet and savoury snacks, with water, cordial and coke available. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and post-race goodies.
The event will be held under UK Athletics rules; Trail Running Association permit number is TBA. Maximum entrants 100. Entries close 25/09/2026. Minimum age is 18; entrants aged 18-19 may race up to marathon distance, entrants over 20 have no maximum distance.
