Allithwaite 8 is an autumn road and trail race held on Saturday 1 November 2025 from Allithwaite Community Centre, Quarry Lane, Allithwaite, LA11 7QJ. The course covers around 8 miles / 13 km over trail, fell and quiet roads on the Cartmel peninsula. The route is marked and marshalled. Logistics and entry

Entries open 14 July 2025 and close 29 October 2025. Entries so far: 114 participants. Minimum age is 16 on race day; parental consent is required for those under 18. Entry fees are: Under 18 £7.00, Senior £13.00; a £2.00 discount applies for EA/ARC affiliation. No entries are taken on the day.

Kit requirements include hat, gloves and full body cover/waterproofs; these requirements are confirmed at race registration. Off-road shoes are recommended. Limited free car parking is available close to the venue; organisers request car-sharing or alternative travel where possible. Toilets and refreshments are available at race headquarters. Water will be provided at the finish; runners should bring a cup. Dogs are not allowed on the course or in the community centre.
