Bowland Trail Half 2026 takes place on Saturday 10 January 2026 at Slaidburn Village Hall, Slaidburn, Clitheroe (BB7 3ES). The event is organised by Bowland Ultra. Course and race information

The route starts and finishes at Slaidburn and is described as roughly 13 miles (approx) with 2,000 ft ascent. The course is unmarked; runners follow a written route description and are provided with a map. Terrain includes shooting tracks, vehicle tracks, flowing trails, techy singletrack, road and sections of bog. Marshals will be positioned at key points but not at every junction. A GPX route file is available on the race website and will be sent in the final race email. There is a mandatory kit list for safety and a mandatory race briefing in the village hall.
