Bowland Trail Half 2026 takes place on Saturday 10 January 2026 in Slaidburn, Clitheroe (BB7 3ES), with Slaidburn Village Hall as the event base. Entries open 1 July 2025 and close 1 January 2026. Course and logistics

The route is an unmarked mixed course starting and finishing at Slaidburn. The route covers vehicle tracks, flowing trails, road and sections of bog, and includes around 13 miles (approx) with about 2,000 ft of ascent. Runners follow a written route description and are provided with a map; a GPX file is available from the race website and will be sent in a final race email. Marshals will be positioned at key points but not at every junction. There is a mandatory kit list and a mandatory race briefing on race day. Finishers receive a finish-line meal and a memento.
