The Winter Wipeout!

The Winter Wipeout! is a fell run held in the depths of winter. The event takes place at Ingram Cafe and is the third race in the Shadowlands Race Series. The course is approximately a half marathon in length, leading participants to the summit of Hedgehope and back.

Participants can expect a fully marked route with marshals stationed along the course. The terrain and seasonal timing mean runners may encounter weather conditions such as sleet, snow, and strong winds. The route may also include water crossings. Due to the winter environment and the nature of the run, specific kit requirements are mandatory for safety as conditions can change quickly.

Registration is open to individuals aged 17 or older. The event is conducted under TRA and UKA rules. Upon returning from the course, finishers are provided with hot soup.
