Event overview

The Winter Wipeout takes place on 10 January 2026 at Ingram Cafe (NE66 4LT). The route is a deep winter fell run to the summit of Hedgehope and back. The advertised distance is approximately half marathon (ish). The race is listed as Race 3 of the Shadowlands Series and is organised by Cold Brew Events Ltd.

Entry, safety and facilities

Entries open 16 January 2025 and close 5 January 2026. The minimum age for participation is 17 on the event date. Early entry fees start at £35 for UKA members and £37 for non-members, rising to £45 and £47 respectively from 1 December 2025. A booking fee applies. An optional event cover called XCover is available for purchase.

The course is fully marked and marshalled.
