The Winter Wipeout!

The Winter Wipeout! is a fell run located in Ingram. This event serves as the third race in the Shadowlands Series and is held under TRA/UKA rules. Participants encounter a route that leads to the summit of Hedgehope before returning to the start at Ingram Cafe.

The course is fully marked and supported by marshals. Runners face varied winter conditions, which have previously included snow, sleet, and strong winds. The terrain also incorporates water features. Participants are required to carry a specific kit to manage the winter weather.

The minimum age for entry is 17 years or older. Upon completing the course, participants are provided with soup. Registration is open to both UKA members and non-members, with entry fees increasing after late November.
