adidas TERREX Kendal Trail Run is a 10km (often closer to 11km) trail race set in Kendal, with start and finish in the town centre. The route climbs from the town centre via Beast Banks, then follows the limestone escarpment of Scout Scar for sweeping views over Morecambe Bay and the Lyth Valley, before returning across Kendal golf course and finishing on steep, cobbled streets. Expect a pure trail experience with a mix of tarmac, grass, gravel and cobbles, fully waymarked and marshalled, with a water station around 6km. It is a not-for-profit event supporting Kendal Mountain Rescue Team and is part of Kendal Mountain Festival, featuring closed roads and baggage drop.
