The 23k route passes Derwent Water, goes through Menesty, ascends High Spy and descends Catbells back to Keswick. Minimum ages are 20 years for the 53k and 17 years for the 23k.

Included services and logistics

Live tracking is provided for ultra runners. Other included services list a unique themed medal, free official race photos, chip-timed results, post-race goodies and a post-race hot meal. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals are placed on the course. The event village offers food and drink options and well stocked aid stations are provided at regular intervals.
