Forest trail races at Sherwood Pines on 14 March 2027 offering 20 mile, half marathon, 10k and a junior run. Multi terrain undulating routes with route maps and GPX files, bespoke medals, free photos and prizes.

A 50 km, one day trail run around Hayfield using the Pennine Bridleway, Pennine Way and Limestone Way, with a flexible start, self-navigation, GPX support and Ranger Ultras safety presence. Total ascent 1840 metres.

The Pennine Bridleway PB18km Trail Run covers 18 km from Hayfield to Rushup Edge and back with 806 m of ascent. It uses waymarked paths, offers flexible starts and on course support, and is self navigated under TRA and England Athletics rul..

A 25 kilometre Category BL fell race around Heptonstall in the upper Calder Valley, featuring wooded valleys, upland pasture and moorland. It is a not-for-profit community event with FRA kit requirements and a £15 entry fee.

The Punk Panther Headtorch Half will take place in Otley on Tuesday 23 March 2027. You can run between 5 and 21 kilometers.

Night trail event around Swinsty and Fewston reservoirs offering Half Marathon, 10 km and 5 km options. Limited to 150 entrants; headtorch and mobile phone required; water available mid-race and at the finish.

Yellow Belly 100 is a 100 mile looped ultramarathon on 27 March 2027 across the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB, with about 8000 ft of ascent, six aid stations and a 36 hour cut off.

Peak Rail 7 pits runners against a steam hauled heritage train on the route from Rowsley South to Matlock Riverside and back. The course uses shared trails with marshals, on site parking, and post race photos and results published online.

A trail race of just over 10K on Easter Monday 2027 that starts at Shibden Park, climbs to Beacon Hill and runs through several Halifax landmarks. The event supports Overgate Hospice and is licensed by England Athletics.

April 2027

A third year trail running event on 3 April 2027 at Yorkshire Cycle Hub raising funds for mental health. About 10 km with 1100 ft ascent, limited to 100 entries, age 16 plus, and dogs welcome.

A 32-mile route from Driffield Showground across the Yorkshire Wolds with a 12-hour completion limit. Checkpoints provide food and drink and enforce opening and closing times; free parking and weekend camping are available.

Flat out and back runs along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal from Rodley, with distances from 10k up to marathon. Trail course with regular feed stations, marshals, toilets at the start, and bespoke finishers' medals and treats.

A canal side running festival on 4 April 2027 along the Rochdale Canal offering races from 5 km to 100 km, with aid stations, chip timing, optional transport and prize categories.

An off-road obstacle race at Normanby Hall Country Park on 4 April 2027 with 5 km and 10 km waves, a junior bale jumper, muddy and wet obstacles, and optional event t-shirts whose profits support local charities.

An 80 km ultra along Wainwright’s coast to coast route across the North York Moors with mandatory kit checks, GPX navigation and staffed aid stations offering food, drink and medical support.
