The Woldsman is a long-distance walking and running event based at Driffield Showground in East Yorkshire and organised by LDWA - East Yorkshire. The event offers two route options and runs across the Yorkshire Wolds from the showground.

The 50 mile route must be completed within a 20 hour limit and there is a cut-off at 25 miles (Thixendale). The event provides food and drink at all checkpoints. Finishers receive a badge, a certificate and a meal. Retirements are to be made at checkpoints only.

Facilities at the showground include free car parking and camping provision from Friday to Sunday. The minimum kit required includes an OS Explorer map (294, 295 or 300), a compass, waterproofs, a first aid kit, a survival bag, a mug for drinks and extra warm clothing.

Entry is by pre-entry. Entries open on 1 August 2025 and close on 4 April 2026. The published entry fee is £30. The event has a minimum age of 18 on the event date. The event is currently full and new entries will be placed on a waiting list; waiting list entries do not require payment at the time of joining. Withdrawals made before 4 April 2026 are eligible for a refund of the entry fee; withdrawals after that date forfeit the fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
