Woldsman 30
The Woldsman 30 is a long distance event that covers 32 miles from Driffield Showground across the Yorkshire Wolds and must be completed within 12 hours. Entrants must be at least 18 years old.
Free car parking is available at the Showground. Basic camping is offered from Friday to Sunday for a fee of £5 per person. Registration is handled on the event day.
The route uses staffed checkpoints with enforced opening and closing times. Food and drink are provided at all checkpoints and vegetarian options are available. Retirements must be made at checkpoints only. A badge, certificate and meal are provided at the finish.
Minimum kit required includes Map O S Explorer 294 295 300 and compass, waterproofs, first aid kit and survival bag, a mug since no mug means no drink, and extra clothing for warmth. A full route description and a GPX file will be published approximately one week before the event. Parts of the route cross private land so entrants are asked not to recce the full route before the event day.
Withdrawals before 13 March 2027 receive a refund of the entry fee minus an administration charge. After that date the entry fee is forfeited and no transfer or deferral is permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
