The Woldsman 30 is a 32-mile event starting and finishing at Driffield Showground and running over the Yorkshire Wolds. Entrants must complete the route within 12 hours. The event is organised by LDWA - East Yorkshire and uses the Showground as the central location.

Entry details include an entry fee of £22, a minimum age of 18, entries open 13 June 2026 and close 27 March 2027, and a withdrawal refund provision for cancellations before 13 March 2027 (minus an administration fee). No transfer of entry or deferral is permitted.

Free car parking is available at the Showground and basic camping space is available from Friday to Sunday for a cost of £5 per person. Checkpoints on the route provide food and drink; vegetarian catering is available but other special diets will not be catered for. Checkpoints have enforced opening and closing times and late arrivals will be retired from the event; retirements must be made at checkpoints only.

A badge, certificate and a meal are provided at the finish. The minimum kit required is Map O/S Explorer 294/295/300 and compass, waterproofs, first aid kit and survival bag, a mug (no mug = no drink), and extra warm clothing. Trail runs nearby

A coastal out and back trail run from Sewerby to Flamborough on undulating paths with steps and stiles. The event offers 10 km, half and marathon distances, regular feed stations and food available at the Ship Inn after the race.

A circa 120-mile circular ultra across the North York Moors, summiting the park's ten highest hills and passing ancient sites. The race includes two indoor checkpoints, a 35-hour time limit, tracker and GPX for each entrant.

A 5K beach race with an accompanying fun run on Bridlington South Beach on 5 July 2026. The route runs along beach and coastline on firmer sand and the event is licensed by the Trail Runners Association under UKA rules.

The MacTuffX Hull will take place in Kingston upon Hull on Sunday 5 July 2026. You can run 8 kilometers.
