Hull Pretty Muddy 5 km : Costello Stadium, Hull

The event is a Pretty Muddy 5 km obstacle course at Costello Stadium and Costello Playing Fields in Hull. The course uses grass and tarmac paths, with the start and finish on grass, and includes short uphill and downhill sections. Participants are invited to climb, crawl and slide around the course. Marshals are on hand to assist and participants may skip obstacles if needed.

Waves start every 15 minutes to manage safety on the course. The meeting point is within Costello Playing Fields in front of the tennis courts; the finish is to the right of the tennis courts. Participants must be 13 years of age or older. There is a minimum fundraising target of £50. Entry fees shown are Adults £22.49 and Children £12.00.

Travel and parking details note event parking at Syrius Academy West with a short flat walk to the site, and Blue Badge parking at Warners Gym/Pickering Road car park. The closest pedestrian entrance is via Anlaby Park Road and Costello Stadium car park. Nearby bus stops are on Anlaby Park Road, Boothferry Road and Pickering Road. Train stations are noted at Hessle and Hull with walking distances.

Facilities listed include refreshments, toilets and parking. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs, and dogs are not allowed. Support measures include sunflower wristbands, trained Event Managers and a QR code for BSL stage content. Experience a 50 km circular ultra trail through the scenic dry valleys and villages of the Yorkshire Wolds with full checkpoint support and live GPS tracking.

Pretty Muddy York is a 5 km obstacle course at The Knavesmire on 3 May 2026 where participants climb, crawl and slide across grass and trail surfaces. Participants must be 13 or older and a minimum fundraising target of £50 applies.

Trail races from Pelican Park in East Hull along the TransPennine Trail toward Hornsea, on flat, well-surfaced trail. Multiple distances from 5 km to marathon, with marshals, feed stations, a bespoke finisher medal and on-course support.

A team relay event following the Yorkshire Wolds Way from Filey to Hessle. Teams have a 13.5-hour time limit to complete the challenge. Three team categories are available for entry.
