The Yorkshire Wolds Ultra is scheduled for 25 July 2026 at Kilnwick Park Ground on the edge of Pocklington, Yorkshire, UK. The event is a 54 km circular route with a total climb of 4,100 ft. This edition is the 4th and the overall finish cut-off is 12 hours; the cut-off is based on an approximate pace of 3 miles per hour. Entry fees start from £47. The event has an entry limit of 200 participants and a minimum age of 20 on the event date. Live GPS tracking (OpenTracking) is included with entries and a GPX file is provided for navigation.

Route, checkpoints and facilities

The route passes through the villages of Givendale, Bishop Wilton, Kirby Underdale, Thixendale, Huggate and Fridaythorpe and uses less trodden trails and grass meadows. There are four indoor checkpoints with toilets and menstrual products; checkpoint food and drink is vegan friendly and gluten free. One checkpoint will serve hot drinks and there is an additional drink-only water station at about 32 miles. Registration offers free parking and changing facilities, with showers available at the finish. Finish options include an eco-wooden medal, a wildflower seed medal, or planting three trees instead of a medal. Scarborough Rock on 10 January 2026 offers 16 and 26 mile walking and running routes along Scarborough coast, Oliver's Mount and moorland. The popular LDWA event is based at Scalby Parish Hall and is full with a waiting list.

Orienteering at Beverley Westwood on Sunday 11 January offers runnable common land, small woods and some climbs across courses for all abilities from White to Brown. Golf greens are out of bounds and dogs are welcome under control.

YHOA Night League at Bishop Wood, Saturday 17 January, brings night orienteering on courses from 1.6 to 5.4 km with an intro option for juniors and novices. Enter by 11 January to guarantee a map; entries close 15 January.
