Sutton 10k: Sutton on the Forest
Sutton 10k is a chip timed 10 km event on a flat rural multi-terrain course. The route uses parkland tracks through Sutton Park and forest, surfaced and farm roads, quiet village roads and parts of a former airfield. The start and finish are on the village playing field in Sutton on the Forest, postcode YO61 1DW.
Entry for the 2026 race is handled via Bookitzone with a closing date of 25 September 2026. Entry fees are listed as £16 attached and £18 unattached, with a £20 entry on the day if the race limit of 400 runners allows. The minimum age for runners is 15.
Race numbers and timing chips are not posted in advance; they are available for collection at Race HQ on the day. Toilets and refreshments are available at the village playing field, and the Brownies operate a tea tent. Free off-road parking is provided close to the start. The event is planned to be run under UK Athletics rules and a race licence has been applied for.
