Hip Hip Hooray it's Hornsea

Hip Hip Hooray it's Hornsea is a seaside trail running event based in Hornsea, East Yorkshire. The races follow an out and back route along the Trans Pennine Trail on generally flat, good-quality paths. The course is marshalled and signed, with feed and drink stations approximately every three miles.

Facilities at the venue include toilets in the nearby leisure centre. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and a selection of treats. The organiser runs multiple distance options and the event is licenced by the Trail Running Association.

Practical notes recorded for the event: registration opens early and entrants are advised to allow time for parking, registration and toilet use; parking is available nearby though council charges may apply and car sharing is suggested. The event operates as a cupless or low-cup event so runners are asked to bring their own reusable cup or bottle. Large over-ear headphones are discouraged on safety grounds; bone conduction or single in ear pieces are preferred. Participants should be aware there may be some unmarshalled road crossings. Transfers and deferrals can be processed through the organiser's booking channels. General event information and participant FAQs are provided online and through the organiser's community channels.
