An evening popup running event in Kirkstall, Leeds offering 5k and 10k races with on the evening registration, a jumble medal and a soft drink for all runners.

A Wharfedale Harriers moorland race on Thursday 7 May 2026 covering about 7 miles and 1100 ft of ascent. Runners start at Barrier Car Park, touch the gate by Dick Hudsons Pub on the moor and return while choosing their own route.

A six-hour off-road challenge at Beacon Hill Country Park on a 3.3 mile loop. Participants complete as many laps as they wish within the time limit; a head torch is required for laps started after 7pm.

A trail race day at Sutton Bank on 10 May 2026 offering Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k courses with downloadable maps, mandatory safety kit and published ascent and time limits; entries are capped and the event operates a no-refund policy.

A fell running event in the North York Moors on 10 May 2026 covering 18.2 km with 950 m of ascent. Entry is on the day for cash only and teams of three are allowed.

Trunce 3 at Oxspring Playing Field on Mon 11 May 2026 offers a scenic but hilly 6.2 km senior race with 190 m of climb in the Peak District. Entry on the day is £3 with a 3 km over 10 junior race included, part of an eight race series.

Run the Jack Bloor Race in Ilkley on 12 May 2026, a scenic 8.4 km challenge with 350 m of climbing through the York Dales. Entry on the day, teams welcome, small fee and all proceeds support the Jack Bloor Memorial Fund.

Rodley Rock up n' Run is a pop up summer event on 14 May 2026 with 5 km and 10 km races behind the Rodley Barge Pub. Entry can be paid online or on the day; runners receive a jumble medal and a soft drink.

An undulating, chip-timed trail 10K in Skellingthorpe on 15 May 2026 organised by Lincoln District Runners. The race had a 300-runner limit, offered medals and goody bags, and is currently listed as full.

A 50 km trail ultramarathon in Nottinghamshire on 16 May 2026, starting and finishing at Milestone Brewery, with checkpoints every 6 to 8 miles, a 10 hour cut-off, finish-line food and tap room access.

An off‑road marathon on 16 May 2026 along the Tissington and High Peak Trails finishing at Cromford Wharf. The festival also includes a half marathon from Friden and a 10K from Harborough Rocks.

A 5 km muddy obstacle course at Braunstone Park on 16 May 2026 where participants climb, crawl and slide through a circular course. Minimum age 13, limited weather-dependent parking, and a minimum fundraising target of £50.

A low key trail half marathon of about 13.2 miles around Black Hambleton and Silton Woods near Osmotherley, with a 3.5 hour time limit, limited to 50 entries, mandatory safety kit and one checkpoint plus finish refreshments.

A traditional Peak District fell race in Youlgrave on Sunday 17 May 2026, covering about 5.8 miles of rough trails, fields and limestone descents. Pre-entry costs £6 and all profits go to Youlgrave Parish Council.
