Peak Running - The Dovedale Dipper
Hartington, United Kingdom • 3 Aug 2024
The Dovedale Dipper, a challenging trail event in the Peak District National Park, offers two routes for both runners and walkers starting from the picturesque village of Hartington. The long route, known as the Big Dipper, covers a marathon distance with stunning views of the Dove and Manifold valleys. The shorter route, the Little Dipper, is a 15-mile option for those looking for a less strenuous day out in the Peaks. The event is popular among participants who come from various locations to explore the hills, valleys, and villages on the Derbyshire-Staffordshire border. The event was taken over by Peak Running after the Matlock Rotary Club organized it until 2019. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
