Ranger Ultras PB50km Ultra

The PB50km is a single-day trail run on a grand loop of classic trails based out of the village of Hayfield in the Peak District. The route uses sections of the Pennine Bridleway, Pennine Way and Limestone Way and covers approximately 50 km with a total ascent of 1840 metres.

The event is self navigated on public rights of way with official National Trail and local footpath finger posts to assist route finding. Entrants receive navigation notes and a GPX file. Ranger Ultras provide on-course safety support from their Safety Team and staffing at the race HQ.

Refreshments are provided on course at designated points and there are hot drinks and food available at HQ. Finishers receive eco-medals and there are trophies for first male and first female plus age category trophies for 20-49 and 50+. The event is held under a Trail Running Association permit and England Athletics competition rules. Participants must be 20 years of age or older on race day.

A compulsory kit list applies and will be checked before the start; required items include a waterproof jacket with hood, map, head torch with backup, whistle, emergency survival bag, sufficient food and fluids, basic first aid kit and a fully charged mobile phone. Headphones are not permitted on road sections or through farm yards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
