The course covers approximately 8,000 ft (about 2,438 m) of cumulative ascent and descent and includes sections of the Viking Way and a series of historic Lincolnshire villages.
The event uses Swallow Village Hall, Lincolnshire LN7 6DL, as the base location. The field is strictly limited to 150 runners and entries operate on a first come, first served basis. Prizes are awarded to the first three finishers in the male and female categories. Parking at Swallow Village is limited; additional parking is available about 200 m from the start near the Swallow Inn.
