Rumble In The Jumble III : Skellingthorpe

Circuit Running presents a six-hour timed challenge on a lap course at Lincoln Road, Skellingthorpe. Participants can choose distances that range from a single 5 km option up to an ultra marathon within the six-hour time limit. The course uses laps of either 3.28 miles or 4.37 miles, includes a 5k turn point, and requires specific lap counts for longer distances: a 10k is two laps of the 5k section, a half marathon is three or four laps, a marathon is six or eight laps, and an ultra marathon is seven or nine laps.

The route is mainly along an old railway line on a tarmac path with a short field section at the start and finish of each lap. The course is out-and-back and requires no navigation. A table at the end of each lap provides water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of food. Toilets are located at the pavilion on the playing field. There is car parking at Skellingthorpe Community Centre.

Finishers receive a medal and a goody bag. The event is licensed by the TRA and is run under UKA Athletics rules. Maximum permitted distances by age under those rules are provided for junior categories, with no maximum distance for participants aged 20 and over.
