The Wolds Farm Loop - 6 Hours
The Wolds Farm Loop is a six hour looped trail event set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The reported loop is approximately 5.45 km with about 71 metres of elevation. Participants may run as many laps as they choose during the event period, with a final loop cutoff in place.
The route mixes rolling open fields, off-road farm tracks, quiet stretches of tarmac, and areas of ancient woodland. A single aid station is located at the start and finish area, offering mainly real food such as jelly babies, fudge, cake, and cheese straws; gels and similar products are not routinely supplied. Participants may leave their own clearly labelled food at the aid station.
Parking is limited and provided in two locations roughly 200 m and 400 m from the event area. A shelter or dome tent is normally provided for bag drop and storage, but staff and volunteers cannot monitor possessions at all times; items are left at the owner’s discretion.
Registration and bib collection are carried out at the start line gazebos and aid station unless stated otherwise. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Completion of one lap qualifies a participant as a finisher and entitles them to a custom event medal and goody bag. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
