Summer 50 Miler

The Summer 50 Miler is a 50 mile circular ultramarathon scheduled for 12 September 2026, based at Swallow Village Hall in Lincolnshire LN7 6DL. The route crosses the Lincolnshire Wolds and includes rolling arable farmland, historic villages and sections of the Viking Way. The course profile lists approximately 1,370 m of ascent (about 4,500 ft).

The event uses a looped route with four fully stocked aid stations and a strict 18 hour cut off for completion. Registration and kit check take place the evening before the race. A mandatory kit list and race day information are issued to entrants. GPX route files are available for download and the course is mapped via Ordnance Survey and Garmin GPX formats.

Entry is limited to 150 runners and places close once capacity is reached. Parking at Swallow Village is described as extremely limited and car sharing is requested to reduce congestion. Entry fee information is provided and the advertised price for the event is £79. Finishers who complete the course within the cut off receive a bespoke Yellow Belly finisher's medal. A six hour timed challenge in Hull offering distances from 5K to ultra marathon on an out and back course along an old railway line; aid table, toilets and a finishing medal with goody bag are provided.

A 47 miles trail race on 27 June 2026 following the Hudson Way and Wolds Way to Malton, with checkpoints, drop bags and mandatory kit checks. Finishers receive a medal and a T shirt.

The MacTuffX Hull will take place in Kingston upon Hull on Sunday 5 July 2026. You can run 8 kilometers.

A 5k mud obstacle course at Lincolnshire Showground featuring climbs, crawls and slides, organised by Cancer Research UK. Participants must be 13 or older; fees and a minimum fundraising target apply, and a medal is awarded on completion.
