Event Overview

Lets Motor along the Towpath is a running event held in Rodley, taking place on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. The course follows a flat, even towpath that consists of good trail terrain. The route is an out-and-back format, which is both marshalled and signed. While the majority of the path is level, participants will encounter some elevation changes near the canal locks.

Participant Support and Safety

Feed and drink stations are positioned approximately every three miles along the course, offering various food and beverage options. The event operates as a cup-less race, and runners are encouraged to bring their own reusable bottles or cups. For safety reasons, large over-ear headphones are not permitted, although bone-conducting or single-ear pieces are acceptable to ensure runners can hear marshals and other path users. Facilities and Transport

Toilets are located at the start area. There is no dedicated event parking at the registration or start line; instead, on-road parking is available within Rodley and the town centre. The location is accessible by bus from Leeds, Keighley, Shipley, Bingley, and Bradford. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and a selection of treats at the conclusion of their run.
