MindOverMoors - The OG! is a trail running event held on 4 April 2026 at the Yorkshire Cycle Hub (YO21 2AP) in the North Yorkshire Moors. The event is organised by Mind Over Moors as part of a new annual series that aims to raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention. The event is covered by ARC (The Association of Running Clubs).

Entries are limited to 200 and the minimum age to enter is 16. A portion of each entry fee will be donated to a mental health charity that is yet to be confirmed.

Race details

The course is a circular trail route with a total ascent of 1100 ft and a distance of 10 km / 6 miles (ish). The route will be well marked throughout and includes one aid station with refreshment positioned roughly halfway. Prizes will be awarded to the overall winner and additional finishers will be chosen at random by bib number; prize contents are to be confirmed.

Entry fees are listed as £20 for affiliated runners and £22 for unaffiliated runners. Entries open on 15 July 2025 and close on 3 April 2026. Take on the rugged North York Moors at Hardmoors 26.2 Goathland, a scenic but demanding 27.5 mile trail marathon. Expect big climbs, unmarked routes requiring map reading, and coastal views in a friendly series atmosphere.

Join the Hardmoors 15 on 3 January 2026 for a scenic 17.5 mile circular trail from Robin Hood's Bay along the Cinder Track and Cleveland Way. Limited to 150 runners, this winter coastal challenge rewards finishers with a medal and tech tee.

Scarborough Rock offers scenic 26 and 16 mile coastal and moorland routes from Scalby Parish Hall, passing Oliver's Mount. Popular LDWA event with checkpoints, food and a finishers meal; currently full with a waiting list.

Join a guided recce of the Hardmoors 55 route from Osmotherley to Helmsley, about 25 miles across classic North Yorkshire moorland. Small supported groups, checkpoints and hot drinks on arrival make this a great winter training day.
