Trail Running calendar near Crymych 2026-2027

The Sirhowy Challenge is a 10 mile multi-terrain race featuring a 1,500ft climb to Machen Trig Point. Participants enjoy a scenic loop through the Sirhowy valley with awards and a finishers social at the local club.

A 12 mile off road run across the Clovelly Estate on 3 May 2026, organised by RNLI Events. The course features steep hills and views, tickets are shown from £33.22 to £38.62 and the event is for 18 plus.

A 13.4 km fell race around Talgarth with 610 m of ascent. The course is partially marked and requires navigation; entry is £10 pre entry or £15 on the day and the event is insured by the WFRA.

A mountain race on Cader Idris of 16.9 km with 915 m of ascent, run on a partly marked route that requires navigation and experience. Entries open online with a limit on competitors and chip timing in place.

A point to point race of approximately 5 miles along river paths and a canal towpath on 17 May 2026, organised by Maldwyn Harriers. Entry fees vary by category and entries may be taken on the day.

A multi terrain 10 km run on 22 May 2026 through Parc Dinefwr, Parc Penlan and Parc le Conquet with a 90 minute cut off; entry includes cheese and wine for finishers and an optional event T shirt.

A 26.2 mile trail marathon near Bridgend with mixed terrain, quarry and forestry sections, and a route past the Bedford ironworks. Places are limited to 60 runners and the course is marked with GPX and five feed stations.

Mynydd Mawr is a midweek race near Caernarfon covering 6.7 km with 450 m of ascent, part of the North Wales Mid Week Series. Navigational skills are required; preregistration is requested and a day-entry fee of £2 applies.
