Runaway Train in Shepton Mallet on 3 May 2026 combines a cross country trail race, a family walk and a town centre boxty feast, with scenic routes through woods, tunnels and viaducts and 8½ mile, 6 mile and 3 mile options.

Sheinton Steeplchase is a provisional 5.3 km cross-country near Cressage on 6 May 2026 with about 100 m of ascent. Entry is on the day for £10 and 2026 will be the last running of the race.

Join this 5 mile multi terrain race at Bromsgrove Rugby Club featuring a scenic route of trails and towpaths. This evening event welcomes both solo runners and canicross participants for a focused and competitive run.

A 6.9 km running event at Ysgol Dinas Bran in Llangollen with 350 m of ascent. The course is partially marked, minimum age over 16, day-entry fee £5, with refreshments plus showers and changing available.
