Included in the entry price are a buff, a medal, chip timing, a National Trust contribution fee, a signed posted and marshalled route, and water and sweets provided at the finish of the 5 mile race and at one checkpoint on the 13 mile race.

Compulsory kit is specified for each distance. For the 5 mile entry this includes a mobile phone, hydration minimum 500 ml, foil blanket or bivi bag, snacks, a basic first aid kit, whistle, windproof jacket, and a reusable cup. For the 13 mile entry this includes a mobile phone, hydration minimum 2 litres, foil blanket or bivi bag, snacks, a basic first aid kit, whistle, waterproof jacket and trousers, hat or buff, gloves, and a reusable cup.
