Crickhowell 10km
The event on Saturday 8 August 2026 is a 10 km run on a pancake-flat out-and-back course along the Brecon and Monmouthshire canal. The route starts and finishes in the village of Gilwern with the turnaround at Llangattock, near Crickhowell, and runs through scenery in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The course layout for 2026 is a reversal of previous years.
All finishers receive a medal. A drink station is provided at 5 km. Car parking and toilets are available nearby. Headphones are not permitted due to the narrow towpath and use by cyclists.
Online entries are accepted via the organiser’s website and are processed by PayPal. The launch entry price is £18.99. Strictly no entries on the day. Runners take part at their own risk; the organisers accept no liability for injuries. Participants who are ill or injured are advised not to run and are asked to follow the event withdrawal policy.
