Saturn 7 Hour Time Challenge - Aberdare

SATURN TOO - Ooops I Ran It Again

This is a seven hour timed running event held at Dare Valley Country Park. Participants choose how far to run, with a minimum recognised finisher distance of 3 km. The course is on well maintained footpaths with views of the surrounding countryside and is suitable for road trainers. The exact lap route may be adjusted after a health and safety review.

Distances and lap structure:

• Minimum distance: 3 km (part of a lap).
• Full lap: 4.37 miles / 7 km; may change to 3.28 miles.
• Half marathon: 3 laps.
• Marathon: 6 laps.
• Ultra and 50 km options available; 7+ laps for ultra.

Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal. Distance pins are awarded for half marathon, mega half, marathon, 50 km and ultra achievements and are attached to the medal ribbon. All finishers receive a goody bag; a vegan goody bag option is available. An aid table and drinks table are provided at the start and finish of each lap with a variety of snacks and drinks, including vegan options.

Facilities include toilets and a cafe at race headquarters. There is free parking. A bag drop is available but not secure. Bone conducting headphones only are permitted. The event is organised by Saturn Too Limited as a franchise partner of Saturn Running. Maximum entrants are 300. Entries close 24/07/2026 and the minimum age is 12 years.
