Ultra X Wales is a multi-day trail ultramarathon set in the Brecon Beacons, starting just north of Abergavenny and weaving through the Black Mountains to the east. The 2026 event offers six distances: 110km in a single stage, 110km across two days, plus 60km, 50km, 25km, and 12km options. Runners tackle epic, scenic Welsh trails on a fully marked course, with medical support, aid at checkpoints, GPS tracking, and camping for competitors. The event is a UTMB Index Race in the 100K, 50K and 20K categories and features the Great British Slam.
