The Wild Wolf of Radnor is a 10-mile trail race set in the stunning Radnor Forest in Mid Wales, an area steeped in local legend as the site where the last wolf of Wales was shot. The course features diverse terrains including forestry roads, open moorland, and muddy, tree-lined single tracks. Runners will experience a challenging route that begins with a gentle downhill, followed by climbs up to Black Mixen at 2,130 feet, offering panoramic views of the Brecon Beacons, Cadair Idris, and the Long Mynd. The race includes two water stations, a fully marked route, no cut-off time, and a finisher’s medal, making it a rewarding and scenic event for trail runners.
