The South West Coast 50 Ultra Challenge takes place on Saturday 25 July 2026 from a Dunster basecamp near Dunster Castle. Course options include a 50 km loop via the South West Coast Path and Exmoor, a 25 km loop, and a 10 km route around the Deer Park. The full 50 km loop is listed with approximately 1600 m of climb. The 25 km option is shown with about 600 m of climb; the second 25 km half of the 50 km route is listed with about 1000 m of climb and finishes back at Dunster basecamp. Camping options are available (Friday and Saturday) and transfers and parking are provided.

Support, categories, and services

The event includes covered rest stops roughly every 12.5 km, marquee rest stops every ~25 km, catering, medical and massage teams, and a timing system that scans at rest stops. The route is fully signed with waypoint arrows and an event app provides route maps and GPS tracking. There are shuttle buses to local train stations and transfers to key venues. Entry categories listed include an Ultra March® for faster walkers, a Trailblazerz® category for faster runners, and a Solo Challenger start option.
