Course details and logistics

The event offers two point-to-point trail ultras along the Cambrian Way into Cardiff, passing Castell Coch near the finish. Distances:

The 44-mile course starts at Llanthony Priory and travels over mountain fells, woodlands and villages toward Cardiff. The 33-mile course starts in Abergavenny, joins the route after roughly 11 miles, and includes an early climb of the Blorenge, passages through Pontypool and Risca, a visit to the Machen Races venue, and a traverse of the Cefn Onn ridge before reaching Castell Coch.
