The Black Cattle Ultra (Gwartheg Duon) is scheduled for Saturday 29 August 2026.   • 44 Miles - 71K Ultra: starts at Llanthony Priory in the Black Mountains.
  • 33 Miles - 53K Ultra: starts in Abergavenny, about 11 miles into the 44-mile route.

Both courses have a minimum age of 18 years. Entry fees are £90 for the 44-mile option and £80 for the 33-mile option. Entries open 30 August 2025 and close 23 August 2026.
