Trailspire Ultra 2027 is a seven hour looped endurance event in Callander Park, Falkirk, where runners aim to complete as many 4.14 mile laps as possible. Solo and 2 or 3 person relay entries include live tracking and on-course support.

A roughly 21 mile loop around the Ardgartan Peninsula near Arrochar with about 90% off road terrain, forestry trails and an open hill section. Two safety water stations are at 7 miles and 13 miles and mandatory seasonal kit is required.

Road races in and around Cockermouth offering a half marathon and a 10km through the Lorton Valley with chip-timing, medals and event merchandise. The event supports Blood Bikes Cumbria.

March 2027

A fully tracked 30 mile trail event in Morland near Penrith on 6 March 2027, with mixed off road terrain, about 3000 ft of ascent and four checkpoints. Walkers are welcome and a 12 hour time limit is provided.

Trail runs at Culzean Castle on 7 March 2027 offer 5km, 10km and half marathon options across a 642 acre estate. Live chip timing is provided, canicross is allowed and finishers receive a medal, merchandise and refreshments.

A new half marathon at Grizedale Forest on 7 March 2027, run on marked, chip timed forest trails with views over Coniston Water. Runners may bring up to two dogs and a 12k option is also available.

Trail runs in Grasmere on 20 March 2027 featuring 5km, 10km and a new half marathon, with live chip timing, finishers' kit and canicross friendly arrangements.

A fully marked single lap trail race of 20 kilometres around Buttermere and Crummock Water in Cumbria on 21 March 2027, featuring lakeshore, rocky and woodland trails with wet technical sections on the western shoreline.

April 2027

A 100 km ultramarathon across the Lake District following Wainwright's Coast to Coast route. It starts at St Bees on the west coast and finishes at Shap, open to entrants aged 18+ with an entry fee of £170.

A 26 miles anti clockwise loop around Allendale, Northumberland, organised by North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team to raise funds. The route crosses Hard Rigg, Black Hill and Kilhope Law and returns via Spartylea, The Drag and Ladlewell.

A 300km self supported ultra race following Wainwright's Coast to Coast route from St Bees to Robin Hood's Bay. Entries open 1 June 2026; minimum age 18 and a total entry fee of £999 with a non refundable deposit.
