The course is low level and undulating with a variety of off-road surfaces including lakeshore trails, hard-packed rocky trails, grassy tracks and woodland singletrack. Entry fees are shown as £28.00 for affiliated competitors and £30.00 for unaffiliated competitors. If the event is not sold out, entry on the day is available for an additional £2.00. The race is licensed by the Trail Running Association with a permit pending and is held under UK Athletics rules.
