The North Lakes Half Marathon & 10km is a road event that runs through the Lorton Valley with a start and finish in Cockermouth Town Centre, Market Place. The organiser describes the routes as fast-ish road routes that use quiet country lanes and offer views across the Lake District.

There is no cut-off time for entrants. Live chip-timing will be provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. An event T-shirt is available to purchase for £12.
