The North Lakes Half Marathon & 10km takes place on 8 February 2026 in Cockermouth, with the event area and start/finish in Cockermouth Town Centre. Routes run on public roads through the Lorton Valley and include views across the Lake District.

Live chip-timing will be provided by Timing Up North. There is no cut-off time for either distance. Entry is open to entrants aged 17 and over on 08/02/2026. Entry fees are listed around £26 to £30. An event T-shirt is available for purchase for £12. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. Route maps are provided by the organiser and listed as available separately.

Logistics

There is ample parking in Cockermouth Town Centre, and a free shuttle bus runs to and from the venue. Accommodation is available at Graysonside Guest House for the night before the event; guests may be able to park there for the duration of the event.
