Lakeland Paws: Grizedale half marathon

The event takes place on Sunday 7 March 2027 at Grizedale Forest and is offered as part of the Lakeland Paws series. This is the first time the series includes a half marathon distance.

The route is based mainly on wide forest pathways with sections of single track and uses both sides of the forest. The course includes some elevation but is described as one of the more runnable options in the series. It provides views over Coniston Water. The course will be marked and is chip timed. GPX files are available to download. There are no cut offs for this event. Runners may take part with up to two dogs.
