Fellside Fell Race : Northern Fells Running Club
Fellside Fell Race takes place on Wednesday 22 July 2026 in the area of Fellside Village. The course is 11.3 km (7 miles) with approximately 580 m of ascent. The venue grid reference is NY 305375; the start and finish are at Fellside gate NY 304373.
The race holds a licence from the Fell Runners Association. The route is not marked and competitors must navigate between checkpoints at Brae Fell, Knott and High Pike. The use of GPS devices including watches for navigation is not allowed. Runners must carry FRA mandatory kit: waterproof top and bottoms with taped seams, hat and gloves, a map of the course, a compass, a whistle and some food.
Category is AM and the minimum age is 18. Entry on the day only is charged at £5 for FRA members and £6 for non members. Parking is provided in a signposted field. Organisers note that toilet facilities are very limited.
